I Am Victorious

Wanted to post a few thoughts on the lesson from last night.

Paul talks about putting on the Armor of God.

Remember, it isn't our armor.

It isn't the armor of achievement.
It isn't the armor of performance.
It isn't the armor of intelligence.
It isn't the armor of strength.

It is the Armor of God.

It is Truth
It is Righteousness
It is Peace
It is Salvation
It is Spirit
It is Faith
It is Word

It is Jesus.

With Jesus as our Armor, we are able to attack the gates of Hell and take back what belongs to God.
With Jesus as our Armor, we are able to withstand any attack from Satan and his demons.
With Jesus as our Armor, we can be assured victory.

Victory over the stress that keeps us up at night.
Victory over the secrets we don't want anyone to find out.
Victory over the sins that we can' forget.

The good news of the Gospel promises victory to Christians.

Victory today
Victory tomorrow
Victory at the end.

Because of Jesus, I Am Victorious.
